ENCHANTING BRITANIA ISLETS, SURIGAO DEL SUR; A SUMMER TO REMEMBER

For ten months of tiring day to day work at school, I've been dreaming of going to a vacation somewhere in Visayas or even in Luzon. I thought of  going back to Boracay or Puerto Princesa or spend a whole week in Zambales or Baguio. But plots changed due to some unexpected events.

April 17, 2013, I ended packing my stuffs for a long road trip going to Surigao del Sur with my cousin and her two friends who were all excited for the itinerary I set. Since there were only four of us, we decided to have a bus ride instead of renting a van.

We left GenSan at 9pm then reached Davao City Bus Terminal at 12mn. Unfortunately, we haven't caught the bus with the Davao-Tandag route which will pass by in our dropping point - Salvacion (La Entrada Resort). So we took the alternative, Davao - San Franz (6 hours travel/ P275) then San Franz to Salvacion (1 hour van travel/ P75), then a single motor ride from Salvacion Highway to La Entrada resort for P40. Whoah! We reached there at 10am. I chose to drop at La Entrada because of good reviews I read from travelers who had stayed in the resort. We planned to stay overnight, but when we reached the place, we thought of staying in another resort. So we decided to just place our order for our lunch and pay for the boat ride going to the Britania Islets (P1000).

And here we go, when we reach the four islands, the breathtaking place made us forget that we were very tired and sleepy.

BRITANIA ISLETS, SURIGAO DEL SUR
Truly, Philippines is blessed by the wonders of nature. I'll surely come back in this paradise.
